SuperMeets Now Open for Meet Sign-Up
Sun, September 5, 2010 at 10:33 AM As we discussed at our parent meeting last week, this year, Maverick Swim Club will be using SuperMeets for online swimmer meet sign-up and parent worker registration. Certain swim meets now are available for you to sign up your swimmer. Our online parent worker signup will commence later this month.
All returning families already have set-up their family account in SuperMeets. If you remember your email address and unique family password, you can access SuperMeets now and begin signing up for meets. If you are a returning family and do not remember your family password, please let us know, and we will re-set your account, so that you can start over and set-up your family account as though you are a new family.
Each new family’s name already has been entered into the SuperMeets system; however, each new family must first set up their family account in order to be able to sign their swimmer up to swim at a meet or to sign themselves up to work a job at our meets. The process for setting up your family account is very easy and only takes a minute. You only need to set up your account once, even if you have multiple swimmers on the team. Below are instructions for setting up your family account. In the "Registration" section of our website, we have posted a SuperMeets powerpoint slide show that also shows families how to set up their family account and register for swim meets.
Using your internet browser, go to the home page of our website and click on the SuperMeets logo to bring up our SuperMeets program. This link will take you to an "Upcoming Events" page. For now, two meets are currently available to sign up your swimmer. More swimmer meet sign-ups will be added shortly once the meet packets for the other meets on our meet scheudle are finalized. In the future, after we open online parent worker signup, the "Upcoming Events" page also will set forth all of the meets from our regular season meet schedule where parent workers are needed. Meets that are identified with “Swimmer Meet Sign-Up” can be clicked on to sign your swimmer up to swim at that meet. Meets that are identified with “Parent Worker Sign-Up” can be clicked on to sign a parent up to work a job at one of our meets.
In red letters near the top of the "Upcoming Events" page, you will see a link for “First Time Users”. If you click on this link, you will be taken to a screen where you can create your account. Enter your family’s last name in the first box and then enter “supermeets” in the team password box. Then click “Submit”. Since certain families have the same last name, we have set forth in an email blast that went out earlier today those families that need to input their initials (or name) in addition to your family’s last name in the box for their last name. If you are having problem setting up your account, please check that email blast for the list of families that must use extra letters for their family name.
After inputting the above information, the SuperMeets website will tell you that it found your family’s name in the system and then ask you for your email address and ask you to enter your new family password. This password will be the password that you will use going forward in lieu of the team password “supermeets”. Once you have confirmed your new unique family password a second time, click the “Update” button.
Please then close your browser, return to SuperMeets using the link on our home page, and then click the "Login as User" link in the upper right hand corner of the screen. Enter the email address and password that you just specified for your account setup to log in. This will confirm your access to the system. Your family account is now established, and you are ready to sign up now for meets, and later this month, for parent worker jobs! To sign your swimmer up for a meet, just click on the name of the meet from the "Upcoming Events" page, choose the session of the meet that you want to sign your swimmer(s) up for and then click on one of the openings for "Swimmer".
After you have registered for some meets, you will always see a list of the meets and days that you have signed up for every time you initially log into your account.
Instructions for signing up for parent worker jobs will be sent by a general email blast later this month to all families.
Let us know if you have any questions.
