2025 SPRING/SUMMER LONG COURSE SEASON

2025 Summer Long Course Program Information - This document contains all of the information you need including groups, qualifications, planned practice times/locations, and pricing. Use the REGISTER HERE link in the menu tree button to register.

Current Maverick SC 2024-25 swimmers will register from February 19 through March 10. Members received email information on February 24.

Clarification regarding Senior group registration and practices. Beginning on the listed start date of their registration group, Senior swimmers may attend ANY of the scheduled Senior group practices INCLUDING Monday through Friday mornings, M/W/F afternoons, or Saturday mornings. At this time, there are NOT separate morning and afternoon Senior groups. This scheduling offers flexibility to chose from as many as 9 practices for those who are attending summer school or working in addition to providing the option of double practices a few days each week (ask your lead coach if this is appropriate for your swimmer). Please reach out to the Registrar if you have questions.

General Information about the LC season:

  • Summer Long Course is intended for swimmers age 8 and older with at least one season of competitive team experience. Each practice group has minimum ability requirements which can be found in the Program Information document above.
  • Group placement is at our coaches' discretion. 
  • Potential new swimmers must attend a coach evaluation. 
  • Registrations after May 1 are required to "pay in full". Some groups will fill prior to this date.​
  • Tentative practice times and locations are in the Program Information document. Swimmers can expect to practice at any of our locations and should consider this when registering. The final calendar will be available later this spring.
  • If you are a Maverick alumni and current NCAA athlete, please contact the registrar for assistance.

Maverick 10u Summer Stroke Clinic  - This M/W/F afternoon program from June 9 - July 16 is intended for swimmers age 10 and younger who would like to practice with Maverick over the summer on a more limited basis. Note, there will be no practices on Fridays when we are attending a meet. Questions about whether the clinic or LC may be more appropriate should be directed to your lead coach (looking at their recommendations may also help).

Naperville Central D203 Conditioning:  This Naperville D203 program coached by Maverick staff is open to any swimmers who meet the requirements. The clinic, held May 12-23, 2025, is appropriate for those not participating in LC programming. Full information and the signup form are posted on our News page. Signup is scheduled for Tues, March 4 from 6:30-7:30pm in the pool lobby of Naperville Central. If you miss that signup, there are instructions on the form about where to send it. 

Winter SC 2025-26 registration information will be posted in June with evaluations planned for July 2025. Athletes who are new to competitive swimming should consider participating on a summer recreational league team and then attending our evaluation in July.
